APAF has recently added Difference Gel Electrophoresis (DIGE) to our available proteomics services. DIGE allows researchers to focus only on proteins of relevance whilst simultaneously removing gel to gel variation by the incorporation of an internal standard for every gel spot.

MALDI-TOF (PMF) and MALDI-TOF/TOF (PMF + MS/MS) services include protein digestion, desalting and peptide concentration using a commercial C18 micro column, MS data acquisition, Mascot database searching and a standard report. Prices for samples that result in one or more database matches are the same as the price for samples where a match is not found.

2. 1D nanoLC ESI MS/MS services include protein digestion, reversed phase nanoLC and MS data acquisition, Mascot database searching and a standard report. Prices for samples that result in one or more database matches are the same as the price for samples where a match is not found.

3. De Novo peptide sequencing is undertaken an additional data analysis service based on the data acquired from MALDI-TOF/TOF or ESI MS/MS when there is no matches from automated database searches.

4. Special sample treatment includes other services such as extracting proteins from samples, depleting high abundant proteins, 1D SDS or 2D gel electrophoresis for protein separation, HPLC for protein separation and image analysis.
