Research

APAF Ltd is an enabling facility, providing access to proteomics infrastructure and expertise for local and international researchers from academia, research institutes and industry alike. Whilst APAF’s principle activities focus on delivery of world leading proteomics services, we are also active in partnering with other organisations to deliver collaborative research outcomes in fields such as

  • Proteomics technology evaluation, research and development
  • Human health research
  • Agricultural research
  • Food research and characterisation
  • Environmental sustainability

Some examples of on going partnerships are the Qiagen and GE ARC linkage programs where APAF is developing technologies to allow higher sensitivity in biomarker discovery programs through novel adoption of fractionation technology.
